I'd seen the story about the gay adoption in Edinburgh (awful), but not the suggested ban on aid to Nigeria. Michael Cashman, the leader of the gay lobby group, is a thoroughly nasty piece of work. He led calls for the deselection of Catholic Rocco Buttiglioni as one of Italy's two EU Commissioners a year or two back because of his (RB's) beliefs about homosexuality on the spurious grounds that a person's private beliefs shouldn't be allowed to affect public policy. Ripe coming from actively homosexual Cashman, leader of the EU's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and transgender pressure group. I also remember a TV interview Cashman gave a few years ago. Scientists had just, they claimed, discovered the "gay gene" and there was talk of selective abortion in future. Cashman was horrified. He could quite understand, he said, parents wanting to abort a baby if it had a suspected disability, but simply because he/she was gay was completely unfair. The word hypocrisy doesn't even begin to describe it!
Yes, it's extraordinary how abortion is a universal right - until it's abortion for grounds of which the liberal fascist disapproves.
The minds of some of these people are so twisted to contain mutually opposing views: the triumph of ill-conceived philosophies over truth and reason.
