Which Church (Counter Cultural) Father am I?

Apparently...

You’re St. Melito of Sardis!
You have a great love of history and liturgy. You’re attached to the traditions of the ancients, yet you recognize that the old world — great as it was — is passing away. You are loyal to the customs of your family, though you do not hesitate to call family members to account for their sins.

Which makes me rather wish I had heard of him before today.

But his feast day (April 1) seems most apposite for me!

I realised that we did this six years ago! http://ttonys-blog.blogspot.co.uk/2007/04/i-follow-st-melito-of-sardis.html I got the same answer as you - perhaps unsurprisingly.

Hm.... I got St Jerome. Why I know not because I say "Better a live dog than a dead lion!"

I think missed it last time around.

Another St Jerome here.

Sorry you couldn't make Chartres this year - it was meteorologically awful but spiritually wonderful!

Another St Jerome! A modest claim indeed...

Yes, we were very sorry not to be able to get to Chartres this year, but it is in the diary for next, and we are planning to be there.

We prayed for you all...
